Hydraulic valve-block assemblies in a row

01 · The challenge

Harrow built its own valve blocks from machined bodies and bought-in seals, and a fifth of them leaked on the test rig.

02 · Our approach

We now machine the bodies, fit the seals and fittings, and pressure test every block at 350 bar before it is packed and labelled.

03 · The result

Harrow receives tested blocks on a weekly call-off. Scrap on their line is down by 40%, and they no longer stock loose parts.

“We stopped building valve blocks and started fitting them. That alone freed up two people on the line.”
