Titanium trial instruments in a sterilisation tray

01 · The challenge

Kestrel needed trial instruments for a surgeon evaluation that had been brought forward by two months. Their usual supplier quoted nine weeks.

02 · Our approach

We split the order across two sliding-head lathes, ran a weekend shift and laser marked parts in-house. The clean-room team packed and labelled each set ready for sterilisation.

03 · The result

All 60 sets reached the hospital in nine days, with full batch records. The evaluation went ahead on the original date.
